Aave Labs Acquires Avon

Aave Labs has acquired the team and technology behind Avon, a fixed-rate lending builder, including its fixed-rate and floating-rate lending protocols, onchain order book, domains and related assets. Prince Sinha, Ayush Kaul and Omar el-Ashaal join Aave Labs, with the team expected to build capabilities such as fixed-rate lending across Aave's network and product layers. Aave cites more than $33 billion in deposits and more than $13 billion in active loans, making it the largest onchain lending network.
