Aptos ends four-year token unlocks as monthly releases drop 60%

Aptos Foundation completed its four-year token unlock schedule for core contributors and early investors, with 324.78 million APT fully vested. Monthly token releases drop 60% from 11.31 million APT to 4.54 million APT as only Community and Foundation pools remain on the unlock schedule through 2032. Foundation permanently locked and staked 210 million APT, cut staking rewards from 5.19% to 2.6%, raised gas fees tenfold with all fees burned, and set a hard cap of 2.1 billion APT total issuance.
