Atlassian and OpenAI expand partnership to turn enterprise knowledge into action

Atlassian and OpenAI expanded their partnership to integrate OpenAI's frontier models including GPT-6 Astra and GPT-5.6 series across Atlassian's platform and Rovo product. The collaboration combines OpenAI's models with Atlassian's Teamwork Graph to give AI deep organizational context, enabling agents to help teams plan, build, and deliver work. Over 3,000 Atlassian developers already use Codex, and the expanded partnership extends to ChatGPT and Codex plugins that connect to Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools.
