Ripple Gets Final US Approval for National Trust Bank

Ripple received final approval from the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to establish a national trust bank, solidifying conditional approval granted in December. The bank will manage reserves backing Ripple's stablecoin RLUSD and provide fiduciary digital-asset custody services. RLUSD's market value has more than doubled from the start of the year to $2.6 billion, with BNY serving as the primary reserve custodian.
