Trump taps intel chief Jay Clayton to lead new Super Intelligence Force

Trump appointed Jay Clayton, US director of national intelligence, to lead a new Super Intelligence Force tasked with coordinating federal AI efforts. Clayton will be joined by Andrew Ferguson (FTC chairman), Scott Kupor (Office of Personnel Management director), and Emil Michael (under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering). Clayton previously led the SEC during Trump's first term and is expected to retain his current intelligence director role.
