XRP Ledger's fixCleanup3_4_0 bug fix was delayed to November after validator support dropped below the required 80% threshold for two hours on Wednesday. The fix requires 29 of 35 validators to maintain support for 14 consecutive days; support dipped to 26 validators at one checkpoint, resetting the countdown. The patch addresses a security loophole in token burning and the lending system Ripple has been developing for banks since June.
